Thinking Spring

I'm so tired of winter.  So tired of looking outside at the same old snow on the ground, the same muted sun in the sky... I need sunshine and green grass and flowers!  It's a thought that's on my mind a lot these days, so I decided to bring a little springtime to my blog.  Here are a few photos I snapped while doing a wedding at the Mitchell Park Domes last year.   They remind me of all the things I'm looking forward to - and know will come... if I can just be patient.

My five year old loves anything sports.  He's all about football during football season, basketball during basketball season... well, you get the drift.  Right now, it's all about the X Games.  He's pretty sure Shawn White will come a callin' any day now, hip to his rad shredding of the snow mound created by the deck in our backyard.  I don't have the heart to tell him that he may not make it pro... so for now, I'm enjoying the view from the kitchen window... of the boy who thinks he can do anything.
